Natura’s sub-brand face make-up, targeted at young women, developed the “Estojo Mágico Faces” packaging, inspired by cell phone technologies. It is a compact, modern, slide-opening make-up case, with exclusive design and graphics. The bottles were inspired by jars and crafts from native Americans in Patagonia and Andes. The rounded shapes have definitely challenged the current packaging manufacturing processes due to its complexity. The packages were made combining several different materials including metal, glass, plastics and ceramics which allow consumers to experience different touches. Pintpoint dosage cap for 5 ml - 30 ml tubes is an innovative solution where the conical valve made of thermoplastic elastomer allows for exact application of creams and liquids. After discharge, the valve closes by itself and thus protects the product from contamination. | Cube Eau de toilette box |
The carton is printed on an Invercote Creato Board laminated with metalised polyester film. Special spot pantones are used on the small individual squares to impart 100% colour accuracy. More importance is added to the squares by applying a “satin matte varnish” on the borders around them. The evenness in the embossing was achieved on our new BOBST equipment. When tilted in different light angles, the squares shine and give a three-dimensional effect.

The airtight container with screw cap unsealing mechanism we designed is tamper-proof, which enables the customer to check the container to make sure it is unopened by removing the cap. By putting the cap back on the container, and screwing the cap with subtle force, an inner lid can be opened widely. The design structure does not allow the cap to be removed once it is fixed. This ensures its air tightness, and prevents leakage.

An ethnological and ergonomical study of the culture and physiological particularities of oriental women has led to the appearance of specific movements to which no existing objects were suited and has therefore enabled the development of this mascara brush. The structure and the architecture of the brush are completely new. The use of a single material, injected elastomer, creates a saving in energy.

The structures and geometry were originally inspired by the logo, using similar curves from the letter forms. A holistic approach was taken, ensuring that all aspects were closely linked in order to produce a strong and striking brand identity. The smooth, flawless surface was inspired by pebbles and their minimal, natural, organic qualities. Technically this project took a different challenge because of the difference in the packs and the 20 custom tools across 3 different countries.
