PPWR - PACKAGING & PACKAGING WASTE REGULATION

ABOUT THE COURSE


The World Packaging Organisation (WPO) launched an English language online course on packaging in December 2024. The maiden course - PACKAGING & PACKAGING WASTE REGULATION which attracted 37 participants received positive feedback and reviews as well as requests from many stakeholders for a repeat. 

With the coming into force of the PPWR on 11 February 2025, WPO is organising a repeat of the course, incorporating updates to reflect the latest version of the regulation.


The training will be led by experts from Circular Analytics, an Austrian based sustainability consultancy specializing in circular packaging. 

The course will cover key topics such as circular design, recyclable packaging, and practical guidance on how companies can comply with the upcoming PPWR regulations.

Charlotte Neumair, a packaging sustainability expert, leads the
Circularity team at Circular Analytics, focusing on sustainable
packaging and regulatory compliance. With nearly three years as
Project Manager at 4evergreen, she collaborates with 100+
companies on the Circularity by Design Guideline for fiber-based
packaging.

Lina Wimmer is a Senior Consultant at Circular Analytics, specializing in
sustainable packaging. She advises companies on legal compliance and
packaging goals and holds degrees in Packaging Technology and
Sustainability.
